Shonnell K. Gibson is a portrait and modern abstract artist. She was born in Maryland to a portrait artist and an avid tinkerer. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Virginia and a Master of Arts from the Maryland Institute College of Art. Her work has been featured in solo exhibitions and art galleries throughout the United States with a primary focus on events in the Mid-Atlantic region. Her work is held in private collections internationally.
